Versatile, popular, reliable, and affordable performances of violin and fiddle music for weddings and events in the Denver, Colorado, and Rocky Mountain Front Range areas.

Thank you for your interest in my violin performance music services.
Strollingviolinist.com is a competitively priced entertainment alternative to DJs in the Denver and Front Range area, as well as offering a live ambience which even the best recordings do not have. While I do many of the better known violin or fiddle standards, special requests are also welcomed. In particular, transcriptions or arrangements of music to order are included with my wedding performances at no additional charge. Selections to suit ceremonies from most traditions are also available, and if you wish, I can choose or suggest music for your event based on my previous experiences.
Working alone as a solo violinist allows me the greatest flexibility to draw upon my varied background to please a wide range of musical tastes, and to provide the best customer service possible. Sometimes larger classical, or folk style, groups can be arranged on special request, subject to the availability of proven players on a given date.
Experience. I have been playing for a little over 50 years, and, in addition to traditional orchestral playing, my performing experiences cover most popular styles of music and most types of groups, including country, folk, bluegrass, rock, blues, and jazz standards. Over time, I have become able to adapt to the various unpredictable circumstances which can distract from live performances, and have developed effective solutions for the usual problems associated with playing the violin outdoors, in particular for outdoor weddings.
- The highly adaptable strolling violin is well suited for receptions, memorial ceremonies, private parties, corporate events, birthdays, holiday parties, caroling or sing alongs, contra dancing, square dances, nursing homes, hospitals, libraries, and schools.
- My Educational Presentations can be enhanced by including examples and explanations of history and styles of violin and fiddle music.
Credentials. My educational and professional associations have included:
- Private studies with master violinists, Dominick Saltarelli, Marcus Lehmann, Sebastian Campesi, and most recently with Eugene Fodor.
- Masters Certificate in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music.
- Membership in the Denver Musicians Association, the Local chapter of the American Federation of Musicians.
- Affiliated with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
- My original music is published by Licksun-Lyrics.

Of all the places I have ever played, my violin sounds the very best in The Atrium Lobby of Denver's world famous Brown Palace Hotel. Dates of my public performances during the hotel's traditional Tea Time will be posted to this web page when they are confirmed, which will usually be in the last week preceding every month. Most of the time we have room for a few more guests, but it would be a good idea to call ahead to the Concierge Desk for reservations: (303) 312-5913 And, thanks in advance !!!
